The Kentucky League of Cities has a program to train city officials in Ethics. Thursday, March 26th, Andrea Shindlebower, from the Kentucky League of Cities, came to Sadieville to train our city officials. The Ethics Board and the Board of Adjustments were invited to participate. We had two of our city commissioners who were ill that morning and could not attend. They really missed out. This was excellent training. Andrea took the City of Sadieville's Ethics Code and walked us through exactly what we had to know specific to our community. We even found a couple of items that needed to be tweeked with the current code to have it read correctly. The end result is Sadieville was named as the 5th city in Kentucky qualified to carry the title of an Ethical City. Andrea presented us with a plaque and everything. After the training, everyone got together and I took this picture.
