That time of year again. The Countryside Homemakers chose to go to Harrodsburg, Kentucky for our annual Christmas lunch. Harrodsburg is the first permanent settlement in Kentucky. It is a little over an hours drive away. The name of the restaurant we would dine at is The Beaumont Inn.
The Beaumont Inn was originally built at the Daughter's College. It is a beautiful spot of ground with very old trees. Today it is preserved and used as an Inn and a restaurant. There are some shops inside that also support the maintenance of this graceful old building.
We had a lovely lunch, good conversation and friendship exchanged. This is always a pleasant outing.
