Finishing December 2021...

Our first Christmas in our new home had an interesting dilemma. Tradition, for many years, has been to take a picture of those in our home for Christmas Day on the stairs of that home. Alas, our new home has no stairs. Not even a step up to get in the house. What to do? What to do? For Christmas 2021, we had Claude, me, Jake, Andie, Michael, Hayden and Bailey. Andie suggested we do a tiered effect with the bar stool and chairs. We did that. Our picture featured a back row with Jake, Claude and Michael. A center row with Andie and me. The front row was Bailey and Hayden. After Hayden set up his cellphone camera on his tripod and we got a good picture, Andie set to work with PhotoShop placing us in various well-known places, sort of like a "Where's Waldo?" kind of thing. Can you tell what the location was for each picture?
One of the funny lines from Christmas morning happened when Hayden and Bailey were opening their stockings and looking through the contents. Michael asked Hayden what Santa brought him. Hayden replied, "Diabetes in a bag!"

Christmas Eve night we received a telephone call from Lynette, Claude's sister. Bonnie, Claude's mother had been in the hospital. Lynette let us know it was determined that Bonnie's heart was failing. Bonnie wanted to go home and wait there. She was ready and understood what was going to happen. Lynette shared she believed it would be less that two weeks before Bonnie would pass. Christmas Day Claude made flight arrangements to go and be with his mother. With it being the holidays, he could only get a flight a week out.
