Tuesday, May 30th, the missionaries came to Sadieville. There are several members of the Church who are less active that live out here. They wanted to visit them. They only have so many miles they can drive on their car each month. So Claude drove to Georgetown and picked them up and then took them home.
When they got here it was lunch time, so we fed them a sloppy Joe lunch and visited for a bit. It gave us a chance to share what we knew about members in the area.
Then Claude loaded them back in the green Jeep and away they went to visit those people. When they finished Claude brought them back to the house. We gave them a gallon jug of lemonade and each of them a bottle of Dr. McGillicuddy root beer to take home.
Claude had a meeting at the Governor's Mansion so he had to leave Sadieville by 3pm to get the missionaries dropped off before heading to Frankfort. It was a good visit with them and we will be doing that in the future again. They attend the Institute class I teach on Wednesday evening. One of them said they wanted to be retired and the Mayor of a city and drive a bright green Jeep just like Claude some day. On My!!
I went to Georgetown and visited Papa while Claude was in Frankfort.
