Chili Cook-off's 2017...

Sadieville's Chili Cook-off was held Saturday, October 14th. Claude actually won two of the awards. Judges this year were Chester and Bernard Palmer, brothers and former residents of Sadieville, and Rick Hostettler, our Magistrate. Merle and Nina Tussey provided Karaoke for the entertainment. A good time was had by all.

Then, on Monday, October 16th, Claude entered another pot of chili in the Scott County Senior Center Chili Cook-off. He did not win this time. Judge Lusby took that honor. But a good time was had by all.

And about 1:00pm Monday, October 16th, Sandi told Claude, "Enough chili for a while. No more." Chili is good but one can get tired of it in October when it is so very plentiful. I continue to toss out the idea that Sadieville could do a Soup Cook-off of some kind. Some day...Some day...
